Hello,
My boyfriend and I, and a couple that we're good friends with, are going to Iceland for 8 days in early-mid October (we're all in our mid-20s). We'd like to spend a day or so in Reykjavik, then rent a car and drive around the country. Is driving the entire Ring Road in a week too ambitious?
If so, which areas would be the best to spend a few days in the fall, without having to pay extra for a 4x4 vehicle? I am leaning towards the Westfjords and Northern Iceland, but open to all suggestions!
Thanks
