If Convey Law had refused to forward some of the overly fussy questions on the basis of cost or pointlessness, that would have been one thing, but speaking as the person who got the answers out of the managing agents to _both_ sets of queries, I can assure that this was not the case. The managing agents had a fixed fee for answering Leasehold inquiries. It was only after I received an email from the buyer that I realised his solicitors had not received replies to the form which they had sent seven weeks previously. To date I do not believe Convey Law have ever offered an explanation as to why they did not forward the form sent to them by the buyer's solicitors.
